
LF-A Work In Progress!
Here’s a WIP thread I have going with my LFA full on CG Spot!

The model is derived from a factory CAD scan and was tweaked slightly for Maya and co-workers did a whole spot with it in vRay.
I myself don’t have vRay at home so I’ll be using Mental Ray and I think it should be fun! I’ll be modeling new wheels/tires and brake assemblies and most likely an interior which the model does not have. I want to give it more of a track day look rather than stock.
What I started with today was just some basic shader assignments and a semi decent lighting scene..When I get some time I’ll start building some interiors and wheels. And trying to figure out all the lights and plastic pieces for the head and tail lights. Right now they’re looking pretty horrible though.
I’ll also be doing the whole background that I have in mind in full CG so this should be a FUN ride! Hopefully a buddy and fellow co-worker lends a hand and maybe we can have sort of a super car shootout theme for some of these illustrations (lets wait and see)
